Are you passionate about sharing your dental expertise while making a real impact in underserved communities?Join Vida Volunteer, a nonprofit organization that provides free healthcare services across Central America through hands-on, service-learning trips for international students.As a Lead Dentist, you’ll play a key role in delivering quality dental care and mentoring students as they gain clinical experience in rural and low-access settings.What You’ll DoProvide high-quality dental care and educational talks for patients with limited access to health services.Guide and supervise students during mobile dental clinics, home visits, and community workshops.Lead case discussions and hands-on training in key procedures such as restorations, extractions, prophylaxis, fluoride applications, and sealants.Promote oral health education to reduce rates of decayed, missing, and filled teeth within the community.Embody and promote Vida’s mission of expanding access to healthcare, supporting underserved communities, and inspiring future health professionals.What We’re Looking For?Licensed Dentist (active professional registration and code required).Advanced English proficiency and strong command of dental terminology in English.Strong teaching and public-speaking skills.Service-oriented, proactive, and a team player with leadership ability.Willingness to travel to rural areas for project assignments.How does it work?This is a flexible, paid opportunity to join Vida’s dental team on short-term projects.You’ll get invited to clinics based on your availability.
