We firmly believe that diversity fosters innovation and contributes to the success of Arrow.As general labourer, you willFollow all workplace safety policies, and compliance regulations, participate in identifying hazards Comply with all rules and regulations, protocols and established metricsEstablish or adjust daily tasks/schedules to meet changing order prioritiesMaintenance of fleet equipment, e.g. wash and paint equipmentFollow maintenance testing and repairs procedures of productsKeep yard and equipment neat and organizedMay be asked to travel to other terminals to assist if necessaryProvide internal and external Customer Service excellenceSuggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of yard, shop, department, or work crewAbility to understand cross training on all functions at facilityOther duties as assigned by supervisor/manager Previous general labourer experience is an assetForklift operation is an assetAbility to meet physical demands of the job (standing for periods of time, climbing ladders, lifting 50 lbs. etc.)Ability to work at heightsStrong safety mindset Quality oriented Needs to be responsible, accountable and dependable Demonstrates strong communication skills both verbally and written Strong work ethic and positive team attitude Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule Experience working with computers is an asset
