General Ledger Accountant

GL AccountantFor a client of JEKrecruitment in the Oil and Gas related business we are looking for the new GL accountant. You work in a team of 4 other GL accountants and have worked in The Netherlands before. No Dutch language skills are required for this position in the team. The company is very international with a 'green' future and the offered salary is around 60k annual. This is an indication but the offer will be based on your experience. See more information about this position below;ResponsibilitiesACCOUNTING- Monthly Preparation Balance Sheet reconciliation of Key GL accounts- Prepare intercompany balances recon. (monthly)- Follow-up on items from Lead sheet Review- JE Posting- Clearing Balance Sheet Accounts- Liaise with Controlling on balance positions.- Fixed assets: run all required transactions.ACCOUNT PAYABLES- Prepare salary recharge invoices- Prepare recharge invoices (R Cost Center)CLOSING- Maintain Accrual template- Posting Accruals (Step 1 -3)- IFRS15 postings- Capitalization and amortization process running- Other JE's posting per requestREPORTING AND AUDITS- Prepare information to HQ- Give support in the consolidation the financial statementsAUDIT & FS LOCAL COMPLIANCE- Follow up on audit query list- CBS Filings in NL- Attend the request of the auditors- Give support in the consolidation the financial statementsHFM REPORTING- Complete HFM (medium size companies), shared with Chief AccountantTAX- Analise TAX accounts (NL, CY)OTHER- FX rate weekly update in SAP for all the other group companiesQualifications• ACCA or CPA• Min. 5 years in accounting department (in The Netherlands)• IFRS and SAP knowledge would be a plus• Good attention to detail.• Excellent time-management and organizational skills.• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.• ConfidentialitySalary is 55K to 60K annualPlease do not respond if you are not located in The Netherlands!
