About the Company A large-scale healthcare group with multi-billion-dollar annual revenue and operations across Australia, New Zealand and Asia. The organisation has completed a major merger and integration program and is now entering a growth phase. The portfolio spans wholesale distribution (pharmacy, hospital, primary care, aged care, dental and complementary medicine), MedTech and capital equipment (orthopaedics, robotics, vision, diagnostics), clinical manufacturing, and contract logistics. The organisation now requires a harmonised commercial marketing system to support scale, margin improvement and market consistency. About the Role Reporting to the CEO, this newly created executive role is responsible for establishing a unified commercial marketing operating model across all business segments. The current environment is fragmented, heavily communication and event-driven, and does not operate with shared frameworks, language, measurement or value proposition. The role will establish structured marketing discipline across the enterprise. Key accountabilities include:Define and implement a Group-wide brand architecture that allows each business unit to align to a consistent corporate value story, while retaining the nuance required for regulated categoriesDesign and embed integrated go-to-market frameworks that apply across ANZ and Asia, ensuring a common method for planning, sequencing, product launch and commercial activationIntroduce retail-grade category management, trading rhythm, pricing governance and commercial calendar discipline within wholesale channels to uplift margin contribution rather than relying on volume onlySupport in the build of formal bid, tender and proposal infrastructure to ensure government, institutional, health networks and capital equipment opportunities are executed consistently and evidence-basedEstablish enterprise CRM utilisation, funnel discipline, sales enablement workflows and clear attribution models to support performance management across different cycle-type marketsCreate repeatable product launch models that provide consistent messaging, clinical proof structure and adoption pathways for Sales and Clinical SpecialistsCreate marketing governance, operating cadence, reporting rhythm and KPI structure to ensure that marketing becomes an accountable commercial function, not a support function About You You are a senior commercial marketing executive with evidence of building and institutionalising marketing operating systems in complex organisations. You have operated at scale and understand the interplay between marketing, working capital, supply chain, revenue mix and margin. You will bring:Experience leading multi-market or multi-business unit marketing environments where standardisation, operating rhythm and governance were required rather than optionalDeep capability in category strategy, margin management, commercial planning, channel economics and/or sales enablement, not just brand creative and contentExperience shifting marketing from tactical activation to an evidence-based commercial function with measurable impact on revenue, margin and profitabilityAbility to sequence design, adoption and embedding of new processes in a large organisation that is still integrating legacy systemsA practical, direct leadership style with the ability to work closely with the CEO, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain and Sales and influence commercial behaviour Healthcare experience is advantageous but not essential. High-SKU retail, capital equipment or enterprise B2B backgrounds with structured commercial marketing disciplines are strongly relevant. Melbourne based, with meaningful on-site leadership required.
