Your MissionAs General Manager (gn*), you will assume overall responsibility for the production site in China and actively contribute to its strategic development within the MSM Group. Your primary focus will be on leading production processes, localizing products, and working closely with the sales team to successfully develop the Chinese market.Your ResponsibilitiesStrategic market development for Magnet-Schultz China products in the Chinese marketLocalization and expansion of the local product portfolio (“local for local”)Overall responsibility for manufacturing and production, with a focus on efficiency, quality, and delivery reliabilityImplementation of operational improvements to increase productivity and optimize costsManagement of administrative processes (HR, Finance, IT, etc.)Leadership and development of a high-performing team, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and goal achievement both locally and with colleagues in GermanyRepresentation of the company towards customers, partners, and public authoritiesYour ProfileTechnical degree (e.g. Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering) with sound business acumenKnowledge of manufacturing processes for electrotechnical devicesExperience in small-batch and automated series productionLeadership experience in a manufacturing company, ideally in an international contextAnalytical thinking, assertiveness, and entrepreneurial mindsetBusiness-fluent in Chinese and EnglishWhat We OfferAt our location in China, we offer you a responsible and long-term leadership position with attractive development opportunities in a forward-looking, owner-managed German company.
