This role is idea for someone who is looking to move into a GM role who has not had the chance yet.The ideal candidate for this role will have a degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar10+years of progressive experience in construction management, including strong exposure to commercial and business development functionsProven ability to lead tendering, contract negotiations, and project financial managementIn-depth understanding of UAE construction market dynamics, procurement, and cost managementStrong leadership, communication, and negotiation skillsEntrepreneurial mindset with a focus on growth, profitability, and client relationshipsKey Responsibilities:Provide leadership across all company functions, with a direct focus on commercial growth, business development, and client acquisition.Lead the commercial department, driving profitability through effective cost control, contract management, and value engineering.Identify and pursue new business opportunities in alignment with the company’s growth strategy and market positioning.Oversee project execution to ensure timely delivery, financial performance, and adherence to quality and HSE standards.Collaborate with tendering and estimation teams to develop competitive bids and strengthen the company’s market presence.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, developers, and strategic partners to secure repeat business.Develop and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and key performance indicators to ensure operational and financial targets are met.Mentor and guide departmental managers, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and professional development.Drive innovation through the implementation of sustainable and industrialized construction methods that enhance efficiency and long-term value.Ensure compliance with UAE laws, labour regulations, and company policies.
