The Role:The General Manager holds overall responsibility for driving the company’s success in Poland. This is a strategic leadership role that combines business development, operational oversight, and long-term market positioning to ensure sustainable growth and competitiveness. As General Manager, you will be accountable for sales development, guiding the organization toward ambitious targets while ensuring operational excellence and strategic alignment with the Group’s vision. You will act as both a business driver and cultural leader, shaping the company’s presence in the market and building strong relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders.The Responsibilites:Drive strategy: Implement corporate strategy and position the company sustainably in the local market.Expand presence: Grow market share, identify new opportunities, and strengthen competitive advantage.Lead sales growth: Take direct ownership of sales strategy, revenue, and profitability.Customer focus: Build and nurture strong relationships, tap into new segments, and represent the company to clients, partners, and associations.Inspire teams: Lead, develop, and motivate employees, fostering a performance-oriented, customer-centric culture.Optimize operations: Ensure efficient structures, resource utilization, and excellence in processes and projects.Collaborate globally: Work closely with product development and contribute to international sales structures and standards.Deliver excellence: Guarantee quality, on-time delivery, and customer satisfaction.Financial stewardship: Manage budgets, report to the holding company, and ensure compliance with pricing and corporate guidelines.The Requirements:Educational background: Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable field.Leadership experience: Several years in senior management as General Manager or Sales Director.Sales expertise: Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably within the IT software or ERP industry.Customer focus: Strong experience in both existing customer management and new business development.Industry knowledge: Familiarity with the process industries, ideally food and/or chemical sectors.Project management: Several years of experience in project-based business environments.Team leadership: Skilled in managing and developing small to medium-sized teams.Financial acumen: Solid knowledge of finance, budget control, and performance management.
