Their core mission is to design the most efficient and cost-effective supply chain and logistics operations based on the client’s needs, industry characteristics, and business objectives.Main ResponsibilitiesLeads a team to develop and implement warehousing & transport solutions and commercial strategies to meet market and client demandsTranslate customer requirements and bid strategies into actionable project plansPlan and optimize resource allocation across multiple high-priority projectsCollaborate closely with sales and business development teams to deliver effective solutions and drive performanceLeverage global tools and cost models to ensure high-quality, cost-efficient solutionsProvide technical guidance on complex or high-risk projectsLead continuous improvement of design processes and promote best practicesIdentify skill gaps and support team development through training and mentoringFoster strong cross-functional partnerships and maintain key stakeholder relationshipsChampion warehousing and transport innovation- in the areas of automation robotics and mechanisationRequirementsQualifications:Bachelor’s degree required8+ years of supply chain / warehousing/ transport experience in a commercial, customer-centric, or solutions-focused organizationMinimum 2 years of experience managing professional-level team membersKey Skills & Expertise:Team management- leading and guiding a professional team for required outputs in a high pressure environmentStrong knowledge of warehousing operations & warehouse management systems. Including layout (CAD), cost modelling & pricing for warehouse solutionsComfortable with complex data sets; translating them into insights and solution concept needsProven ability to translate customer requirements into value-driven solutionsExperience with product development, operational costing, and cost modelingKnowledge of warehouse automation & mechanization – operational design and functionality Sector knowledge in the technology, retail & life science & retail market is a strong advantage
