General Operative

Are you an experienced General Operative looking for your next opportunity?Rockwell Engineering is looking for a General Operative to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. This position will be based initially on one of our projects in Clonmel, Co. Tipperary. Following completion of that project, the successful candidate may be required to work on other Rockwell projects across Ireland, so a willingness and ability to travel is essential.Key ResponsibilitiesProficient handling of duct work, insulation and equipment related to general engineering operations. Performing assembly, installation, and maintenance tasks. Working with a range of materials including metals. Operating hand and power tools to execute tasks efficiently. Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines. Safe and correct use of equipment and tools. Reading and interpreting technical drawings. Knowledge of safety precautions and risks associated with tasks. Maintaining and inspecting personal tools and equipment. Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:Demonstrable experience in a similar role. Experience working on large-scale projects in Ireland or Europe. Experience operating machinery is an advantage. Proficient level of English. Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification are required. IPAF certification is an advantageAbility to comply with PPE requirements. Access to personal transportation.
