Redefine the future of wellness.JOB PURPOSEResponsible for receiving, storing and issuing supplies and equipment for the daily property operations.Work closely with the purchasing departments, maintain property stoes and conduct inventories.Perform duties in a courteous, safe, ethical and efficient manner, in accordance with the resort’s policies and procedures.GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIESEnsure all financial activities are carried out honestly. Ethically and according to parameters of local laws.Attend meetings as required and provide meaning to operational and financial results.Maintain outstanding communication with team members, direct and indirect reports, resort department heads, ensuring the right information and communidation is received in due time.Develop and maintain effective relationships with all resort employees, corporate team, vendors and suppliers.Promote a friendly, dynamic and collaborative work environment that includes open communication, team work, participation, trust, respect, professionalism, fun.Deliver and participate in meetings and committees as required.Work towards exceeding company’s business targets.Take a positive and resourceful approach to every project.Carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.KEY OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIESEstablish par stock level in accordance with operational requirements and property location.Set up and maintenace of storeroom, ensure it is clean and tidy at all times.Set up daily cleaning schedule with the help of Resort Caretakers, ensure cleaining schedule is followed.Follow the storeroom operations policies and procedures.Check with Loss Prevention if storeroom was opened after operation hours and ensure requisition is available.Review requisitions for the day and prepare storeroom issues.Issue items only after issue requests are approved.Receive items from receiving and arrange items in order.Perform inventory by item group and ensure there is no variance.Review and check all requests if any variance found and notify department leader.Ensure all items are collected by the user department on a timely manner.Extend full cooperation to the operation team in case of emergency.Monitor emergency requests and notify immediate leader if this occurs frequently.Nofify immediate leader of items that are out of stock, critical, etc.Ensure all issue requests are posted on a daily basis and assist immediate leader to issue cost report.Monitor slow moving items, short expiry items and notify cost controller.Check all items for expiry while receiving, storing and issuing. Maintain records for review.Ensure stock take is performed with a witness and all stock take is aknowledged for records.Extend full support and assistance to internal and external auditors during year and stock take.Ensure there are no variance, reconcile and justify reason for variance if any.Prepare issue requests to purchasing, follow up on delivery against issue requests.Assist colleagues with monthly / quarterly inventory stock take.Ensure store items are ordered, issued well in advance during month end, public holiday and days off.Provide closing stock inventory to immediate leader on time to prepare cost reports for the month.Address internal and external auditors queries and keep records for review at all times.Provide support to other colleagues within the same department and other resort departments.JOB REQUIREMENTSQualifications:BSc/BA in Finance or Logistic (preferred) or equivalentFluent in English, and Arabic is strongly recommendedWork Experience:Previous experience in a similar role and in pre-opening (preferred)Experience working with multicultural teamsKnowledge:Inventory softwareSupply chain proceduresCompetencies:EmpowermentDependability and ownershipCommunicationTeamwork and collaborationCreativity and resourcefulnessSelf-developmentGuest serviceTechnical Skills:Audit and assuranceStrong attention to detailsAnalytical skillsReportingExcellent time managementCost analysisBudgeting and forecastingAttitude:PositiveFirendly and approachableResponsible and reliableEmpatheticStrong work ethics and integrityFlexible and adaptable to changeDisclaimer: The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
