Job Description SummaryPerform an array of hand-skilled processes and operation of machines and test equipment for gas turbine component repairs. This role reports to the Operations Leader.Job DescriptionEssential Responsibilities :This role performs a combination of tasks, but are not limited to the following: Perform blending and polishing on metal and coating surfaces Perform manual drilling in the cooling hole re-opening process Operate test equipment such as airflow, waterflow and moment weighing Operate machines such as robotic polisher, shot peening and cold spraying Ensure product quality, equipment care, meet production output/pace, housekeeping and schedules Adhere to all applicable EHS rules and regulations and report immediately any unsafe practices/conditions Support other area of work as assignedQualifications/Requirements Completed Secondary level or higher education. Professional Certificate/NiTEC in Mechanical Engineering is preferred. 2 years of working experience in the related field preferred. Candidates without relevant experience may be considered.
