The RoleDutiesAn exciting opportunity has arisen within the University Hospital Hairmyres, West of Scotland Vascular Service for an assistant practitioner to provide ongoing rehabilitation to patients while in hospital and supporting efficient discharge planning. The ideal candidate will be an experienced, motivated and enthusiastic AHP Assistant Practitioner who has experience of working within a rehabilitation setting. Duties will include:working under the supervision of registered therapy staff to assist patients to achieve their rehabilitation goals.Undertake baseline assessments within clearly defined parameters for the identified service.Implement, adapt and progress treatment programmes within agreed protocols and defined parameters.Use specialist technical and practical skills to deliver flexible, patient centred programmes across a variety of clinical settings.Discharge or transition care within agreed protocols and defined parameters.NHS LanarkshireHave you always wanted to work with NHS Lanarkshire?
