About The JobOur client is seeking an experienced Genset Sales Executive to support the growth of their generator business in Kampala. The role requires strong technical knowledge of generator specifications and solid experience selling gensets. Previous experience working in or for companies such as Car & General, Cummins, Perkins, CAT, Davis & Shirtliff, Mantrac, APE, or similar is a strict requirement, as the position demands hands-on industry familiarity and an existing understanding of power-solution dynamics.ResponsibilitiesSell generator units to commercial, residential, and institutional clientsConduct client visits, demos, and technical supportBuild and manage a solid sales pipelineTrack market trends, competition, and pricingMaintain accurate sales reports and client recordsSupport marketing activities and product visibilityRequirements2–3 years of direct generator sales experience (mandatory)Previous experience working in or for companies such as Car & General, Cummins, Perkins, CAT, Davis & Shirtliff, Mantrac, APE, or similar (strict requirement)Diploma/Degree in Sales, Electrical Engineering, or BusinessStrong understanding of generator specifications and power ratingsExcellent communication, negotiation, and client-handling skillsSelf-driven, target-focused, and able to work independentlyApply now
