Plan, organize, and control all district-level business activities, including sales, marketing programs, routing, and account coverage. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of territory and district plans. Lead periodic reviews and updates of business strategies to adapt to evolving market conditions. Manage District Performance and Accelerate Sales GrowthEnsure achievement of district sales goals by guiding and supporting Professional Medical Representatives (PMRs). Monitor doctor and account coverage, ensuring alignment with segmentation strategies. Initiate and oversee sales activities, product promotions, CMEs, and group initiatives. Conduct regular data-driven performance reviews using SMIS, monthly trackers, and business reviews.
Identify and resolve distribution, inventory, and market-related challenges to ensure uninterrupted product availability. Build and Strengthen Customer PartnershipsBuild strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and Key Decision Makers (KDMs) across the district. Encourage and support PMRs in relationship-building efforts to enhance market presence. Collaborate with KAM and GHC teams to ensure timely product availability across channels. Respond proactively to customer needs while ensuring compliance with regulatory and company guidelines. Inspire, Develop, and Lead High-Performing TeamsRecruit and onboard qualified PMRs through effective sourcing and screening strategies.
Set clear KPIs and performance expectations, conduct periodic reviews, and implement performance improvement plans as needed. Conduct regular joint field visits to observe, coach, and upskill team members in product knowledge and sales effectiveness. Provide ongoing training and mentorship to drive continuous improvement and learning culture. Motivate, guide, and discipline staff as necessary while creating a positive and accountable team environment. Support career aspirations of PMRs by facilitating Individual Development Plans and identifying succession-ready talents. Ensure Budget Management and Asset StewardshipManage and monitor the district sales and marketing budget, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Submit accurate and timely expense reports with supporting documentation. Safeguard company assets, including equipment and promotional materials, in line with company policies. Implement protocols to ensure accountability and prevent loss or misuse of company property. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree with strong academic background. 1 to 3 years of experience in a Sales Leadership role (Supervisory or Managerial), within the Pharmaceutical Sales Industry or Consumer Sales Industry. 4 to 6 years of experience as a Professional Medical Representative. Strong understanding of pharmaceutical sales processes, market dynamics, and customer engagement strategies. Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop sales teams toward achieving performance goals.
