Job Description

ROLE OVERVIEWThe eCommerce Manager for HK and Asia Expansion will be an experienced eCommerce Manager will lead and manage this exciting brand online sales channels in our Asia Region that covers these markets: Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore and India. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving online business growth, managing e-commerce platforms, TP’s and Online Retailers, and leading digital marketing initiatives. This role requires strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, a deep understanding of the e-commerce ecosystem and an ability to set up and manage online businesses for growth.

They will be responsible for collaborating with local teams and cross-functional partners to set up the strategy and manage all aspects of the online business across our different platforms, online marketplaces and online clients including Zalora, Shopee, Lazada, Momo, Sephora. com and will lead the drive for significant growth in online revenue This strong ecommerce centric individual will be a key player in supporting the company’s Digital Transformation in the region. JOB ROLE AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIESCreate and implement an e-commerce strategy for the brand across the regionDevelop and activate initiatives to achieve sales and profitability targets.

Transform online capability, including improving the organisations ecommerce expertise in managing online partners. Manage day-to-day operations of the e-commerce platform(s), ensuring best in class customer experience whilst delivering ambitious KPI’s. Define and manage where and how we play online by optimising existing partners and finding whitespace Drive online optimisations including upgrading online positioning and enforcing consistent premium brand execution online Be the areas centre of excellence; set up templates, KPIs, best practice shares and communication channels to enable marketsWork with all markets to set up a Trading Calendar and ensure forward planning of major campaigns and promotions.

Activate initiatives to move brand visibility up the consumer funnel, including AMS, DSP and partner media campaigns Collaborate with marketing teams to plan and execute digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media. Drive O2O positioning of the brand Track and analyse e-commerce performance data and generate actionable insights to optimize traffic, conversion rates, and customer engagement to provide recommendations to partnersStay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices to maintain competitive advantage.

Link into the Global e-commerce teams to leverage best practices and implement locallyMonitor KPIs and marketing spend to improve ROI and business results. SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONSA highly motivated individual with a positive attitude and a passion for ecommerce & websites. Previous management of big accounts and top-to-top relationships.

Ability to effectively collaborate, partner and influence to drive profitable resultsAmazon experience essential, with ability to demonstrate inside out knowledge of this key accountExperience of mentoring, developing and managing local and global exceptional teamsBachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree preferredMinimum 5 years of experience in e-commerce management or a similar roleStrong knowledge of e-commerce & marketplaces platforms (e. g. , Shopify, Magento, Zalora, Shopee, Lazada…). Instinctive commercial flair to drive decisions that improve KPIs and performance Demonstratable online merchandising skillsProficiency in digital marketing tools and analytics platforms (Google Analytics, SEMrush, etc.

)Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities. Data-driven mindset with strong problem-solving abilities. Experience with international e-commerce and cross-border sales. Understanding of UX/UI principles to improve customer journey. Familiarity with inventory management and supply chain processes. Budget management skills to efficiently allocate promotional investments. Ability to collaborate across teams and stakeholders to drive online success. Fluent in English and Mandarin is a must (verbal and written) & Local Regional Language skills are a benefit.
