As a result of significant project wins; including the design of the Konebada Petroleum Facility in Port Moresby, we have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our growing Papua New Guinea team. Who are we looking for?We’re looking for a Project Manager with site based civil and/or vertical construction experience to join our team based in Port Moresby for a full-time permanent position.
With demonstrated experience as a client-side PM, your role will be to plan, manage and control projects in accordance with GHD’s Project Management Framework. Your ability to collaborate and mange multi-disciplinary teams with agility to tight deadlines, whilst managing client and stakeholder expectations will be pivotal in your success in the role. Additionally, an ability to travel within Papua New Guinea and to identify strategic opportunities and grow businesses will be highly regarded. Key responsibilities will include:
Liaising with clients and stakeholders to understand and manage expectations and timelines Prepare and implement project documentation, job plans, Quality Management Systems Managing budgets, forecasting and financial deliverables Work closely with the Business Group Leader and Market Leader in pursuing and converting potential opportunities Prepare proposals and pricing information which may lead proposals for routine projects Supervise, support and develop team members Field and site based Technical EngineeringWhat you will bring to the team:
Demonstrated experience in a Project Manager role on large infrastructure projects Degree in Civil Engineering would be highly regarded and offer the ability to work across diverse opportunities A track record for delivering exceptional client experience, and an eye for business development opportunities A valid driver's license in Papua New Guinea Relevant on-site credentials Excellent communication skills with a demonstrated collaboration with a diverse range of stakeholders and clients across industries and disciplinesInterested?
