The role As a Data Analyst, you will play a central role in unlocking insights from data to support strategic decision-making across G+T.
You’ll work closely with business stakeholders, engineers, and project teams to translate business needs into meaningful analytics solutions, delivering intuitive reports, robust data models, and clear data storytelling. This role will support the design and development of our enterprise data ecosystem, with a strong focus on stakeholder engagement, reporting frameworks, and business performance analysis. You’ll contribute to a culture of data excellence by championing best practices, improving data quality, and fostering analytical capability across the firm. As our Data Analyst, you will:
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting and analytics requirements and translate them into fit-for-purpose dashboards and data modelsBuild insightful Power BI reports and write advanced SQL queries to support performance tracking and business intelligenceConduct deep-dive analysis across operational and strategic data sets to uncover trends and identify opportunitiesEnsure data quality, consistency, and governance across reporting products and analytics pipelinesContribute to enterprise data model design and align reports to standard metrics and definitionsPresent complex data findings in a simple, engaging format tailored to different levels of data literacyPromote analytics best practices and mentor team members to uplift data capability across the businessAbout youYou are a skilled data analyst who enjoys working across the full analytics lifecycle from requirement gathering through to visualisation and stakeholder engagement.
You thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and are comfortable working across multiple workstreams and senior stakeholders. You will bring:
Previous commercial experience in analytics or business intelligence rolesAdvanced proficiency in SQL and Power BI, with strong data visualisation and storytelling capabilitiesProven experience gathering business requirements and translating them into impactful dashboards or data modelsA strong understanding of business metrics, KPIs, and performance reportingExposure to modern data warehouse environments, including dimensional modelling and star schemaFamiliarity with enterprise cloud platforms such as Azure Synapse, Azure SQL, and Data Factory is a plusExcellent communication skills and an ability to simplify complex data for varied audiencesWhat we offerA supportive and flexible work environment.
