The Global Business Development Manager will lead client engagement and growth within YouGov Shopper’s retail consulting and POS data solutions business in Germany. Reporting to our Global Director Retail also based in Germany, the Global Business Development Manager will focuses on expanding our client portfolio by delivering actionable insights through point-of-sale data and strategic retail analysis.You WillDrive business growth by identifying and developing new opportunities with both existing and prospective clients in the retail and FMCG sectors.Deliver compelling presentations and innovation workshops that showcase the value of POS data and retail consulting solutions.Prepare tailored proposals and pricing based on client needs and YouGov’s rate cards.Consult with clients to design the most effective analytical approaches to address their commercial challenges using POS and shopper data.Conduct benefit-risk assessments and demonstrate ROI through data-driven insights and household panel analytics.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of consulting projects.You HaveProven experience minimum 5 years in a research or retail consulting agency, with a strong understanding of POS data and shopper insights.Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to client development and solution selling.Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build trust and influence decision-makers.Highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects and timelines independently.Fluent in English (German is a plus)Why join YouGov?Join our global team to help us achieve our social mission: to make millions of people’s opinions heard for the benefit of our local, national, and international communities.Understanding diversity of opinion requires diversity of background.
