Job Description
We are seeking an experienced business development and sales leader to lead our Business messaging efforts with telcos. This role will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive growth, innovation, and partnerships with telcos and their key enterprise and government accounts globally.Global Business Development Manager, Telco Business Messaging strategic accounts Responsibilities:Develop and execute business development strategies to drive growth in Meta business messagingStructure, negotiate, and maintain significant and complex relationships with telcos, and other key stakeholders globallyIdentify new business opportunities and partnerships that align with company goals and objectivesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and launch new products and servicesProvide market insights and analysis to inform product development and business strategyDevelop and manage budgets, forecasts, and sales pipelinesStay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologiesTravel as needed for business purposes (approximately 30% of the time) to meet with partners and stakeholdersMinimum Qualifications:8+ years of experience in business development, or enterprise sales in the telecom or tech industryResults Orientation: Consistently meets or exceeds sales targets and business objectivesAbility to work across time zones and as part of a global teamDemonstrate analytical and problem-solving accumenBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related fieldCommunicates effectively with Telco's leadership teams, and industry bodies to build relationships and drive business outcomesPreferred Qualifications:Solid understanding of business messaging, enterprise SaaS solutions and industry trendsExperience in developing and executing complex business development strategies that drive growth and innovationExperience in negotiating high value commercials with enterprise and government stakeholdersExperience in working closely with global cross-functional teams to develop and launch new products and servicesMaster's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related fieldAbout Meta:Meta builds technologies that help people connect, find communities, and grow businesses.
