If you're looking for a new opportunity where you can truly make a difference, we hope you'll apply for a position with us.Job SummaryControllership – India (Direct Responsibility)Own the financial reporting process for India in compliance with Indian GAAP and corporate IFRS/US GAAP standards. Lead the statutory audit process, tax filings, and other regulatory compliance activities. Partner with local advisory, accounting, and tax firms to ensure accuracy and timeliness of deliverables. Plan and lead the transition of outsourced accounting, payroll, and compliance activities to an in-house finance function, including resource planning, systems integration, and risk mitigation. Ensure India financial reporting is aligned with global policies and practices. Design, recommend, and implement controls environment in consultation with global Finance Director and EVP. Manage local AR, AP and Treasury processes. Ensure local AP and treasury processes comply with global Delegation of Authority (DOA) and cash control policies. Ensure compliance with Indian financial and statutory frameworks (Companies Act, FEMA, etc.). Liaise closely with the Global Tax team for tax compliance, reporting, and regulatory interface. Monitor internal controls and implement process improvements to mitigate risk and enhance efficiency. Controllership Oversight – International (EMEA, APAC, LATAM)Oversee and coordinate controllership operations in: EMEA: Ireland, UK, Slovakia, Poland, UAE, KSA LATAM: Mexico, Chile, Argentina APAC: India, Philippines, Vietnam North America: Canada Work closely with regional and local finance third-party service providers (tax and accounting firms) to ensure consistent execution of accounting policies and processes. Coordinate with local tax and accounting firms to reconcile trial balances between corporate US GAAP books and local GAAP ledgers maintained by external providers. Collaborate with local advisors and internal stakeholders to configure Pinnacle’s A/R and A/P processes in compliance with country-specific government and tax requirements. Provide quality control over monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings across all supported regions. Identify and resolve accounting issues across jurisdictions, escalating matters to global finance leadership as needed. Coordinate local statutory audits in conjunction with US controllership. Support local AR, AP and Treasury processes. Technology & Process Optimization Drive finance automation, system upgrades (ERP, reporting tools), and continuous process improvement aligned with a global tech stack. QualificationsCandidate ProfileMinimum Qualifications: Chartered Accountant (CA) certification required. Minimum 15+ years total experience in Finance & Accounting, with at least 5+ years in a leadership/controller role. Experience managing finance teams within a staffing/IT services or workforce solutions firm (Candidates from the staffing and workforce solutions industry will be given preference). Strong command of IFRS and multiple local GAAP frameworks. Proven track record in managing Finance Shared Services/GCCs supporting global business. Demonstrated success in managing external partners across international jurisdictions. Preferred ExperienceFamiliarity with global finance operations and managing multi-country compliance frameworks. Experience in Workday; advanced Excel; Power BI/Tableau preferred. Prior exposure to cross-functional leadership or board-level presentations. Work RequirementsMust be willing to work on-site in Chennai. Working hours will be mid-shift, stretching between India-US timings. Competency ProfileStrategic Financial Leadership: Required to align India GCC's financial function with Pinnacle’s global strategy. Cross-Cultural Collaboration: To manage matrix reporting (Global CFO & Country Head), and drive results across geographies. Change Management & Agility: Critical to lead digital transformation, automate processes, and adapt to evolving priorities. Stakeholder Influence: Necessary for engaging with global leadership, local auditors, and regulatory bodies. Execution Excellence: Drives discipline in meeting tight deadlines, ensuring compliance, and delivering KPIs. Working ConditionsFull-time, on-site (Chennai office). Occasional travel for audits, leadership meetings, or regional oversight. High-responsibility role with tight deadlines and global coordination.
