Job DescriptionThe EMEA Innovation Economy team is part of JP Morgan Chase’s Global Corporate Bank and focuses on Europe’s fastest growing technology and life sciences companies. As an Associate, you will work with senior Bankers as an integral member of the team helping to gain, manage and maintain client and prospect relationships. You will manage internal and external aspects of client relationships, including conducting industry and company research, helping with credit analysis, and partnering with product and industry specialists across JP Morgan Chase. You will support deal teams and country leadership, with accountability for pitchbook preparation, transaction execution and reporting requirements, while ensuring seamless coordination among deal team members, product partners and internal stakeholders. You will be based in Stockholm and will work closely with country and product teams across EMEA, North America, APAC and LATAM.Working here means joining a collaborative, supportive team. We’ll provide everything you need to be successful – from training and mentorship from senior leaders to projects that engage all your skills.Job ResponsibilitiesWork alongside Senior Bankers and Product Partners to execute transactions from initial pitch through to close for both existing and prospective clientsAssume full responsibility for a certain number of processes such as progressing credit requests, legal negotiations, obtaining approvals in the context of deal executions, highlighting and tracking Corporate Banking opportunities across the client list and keeping an accurate reportingWork closely with Treasury Services product specialists (Core Cash Management, Liquidity and FX), implementation and customer service teams to ensure the highest level of understanding of clients' requirements and ongoing satisfactionPrepare marketing materials for use in client meetings covering topics such as payments, financing, working capital optimization, industry and peer analysisBuild a solid understanding of Payments with expectation to drive the onboarding of payments transactions for early-stage clientsSenior Associates expected to build own portfolio of clients and prospects through own origination effortsPrepare and maintain all internal briefing memos, pipeline reporting and relationship reviewsSupport Senior Bankers to help generate new revenue opportunities from prospects and existing clientsCollaborate with industry and credit teams on analysis and documentation of credit requests, responsible for analysing industry trends and financial data as well as building financial modelsDevelop an understanding of the full breadth of J.P. Morgan products and service offerings, including but not limited to treasury services, debt (venture debt, bilateral debt, syndicated facilities), capital markets (debt & equity), private placements, ABS/conduits, derivatives, asset management and M& Required Qualifications, Capabilities And SkillsRelevant experience in Corporate or Investment BankingGood understanding of and a passion for innovation and technologyCommercial mindset with strong relationship management / relationship building skillsAbility to work under pressure and multi-task in a fast-paced, collaborative work environmentExcellent quantitative, analytical and writing skillsOrganized, detail-oriented and proactiveHighly motivated team player with solid communication and project management skillsOutstanding ethics, integrity and judgmentExcellent Excel and Power Point skillsPreferred Qualifications, Capabilities And SkillsFluent in English & Swedish - other Nordic languages would be a plusCoding experience a plusOutstanding academic credentialsABOUT USJ.P.
