This senior leadership position carries a truly global remit, overseeing the strategic direction, governance, and operational excellence of facilities and real estate services spanning multiple regions.As the senior global lead for Facilities Operations, you will serve as the central point of accountability for operational performance, stakeholder engagement, and service delivery across our international network. Partnering closely with executive and regional leadership, you will ensure that every site operates to the highest standards of safety, sustainability, and efficiency — supporting the organization’s mission to improve patient outcomes through world-class facilities and services.This is a high-impact role for an experienced leader with a proven track record managing complex, regulated global operations under ambitious budgets and timelines. If you thrive in a dynamic, matrixed environment and are passionate about operational excellence on a global scale, this is your opportunity to make a significant and lasting impact.Key ResponsibilitiesGlobal Strategy & ExecutionDefine and execute the global strategy for facilities operations, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities, regulatory standards, and business growth objectives.Drive operational excellence across the global real estate portfolio, delivering best-in-class facilities and services through consistent, scalable processes and standards.Oversee global program implementation and project delivery to ensure high-quality, cost-effective, and timely results.Leadership & Talent DevelopmentLead and inspire a diverse, geographically distributed global team.Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation while developing talent pipelines and succession plans for key operational roles.Financial & Resource ManagementOwn the global CapEx and OpEx budgets, ensuring strong fiscal governance and transparency.Identify opportunities for cost optimization, resource efficiency, and long-term value creation across all regions.Stakeholder & Vendor EngagementServe as the primary liaison between global business leaders, site operations, and external partners, ensuring cohesive delivery of facility services that support strategic goals.Partner with Procurement and other enabling functions to manage global vendor performance, negotiate contracts, and drive continuous improvement in service and quality.Compliance & SustainabilityEnsure compliance with global, regional, and country-specific regulations, including EHS, sustainability, and quality standards.Champion sustainability and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and environmental responsibility across the global footprint.Operational ExcellenceLead Practical Process Improvement (PPI) initiatives to enhance productivity, service quality, and cost performance globally.Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on global operational trends, risks, and opportunities.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Workplace & Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).Demonstrated experience in a senior global leadership role within a complex, regulated industry — ideally healthcare, pharma, or life sciences.Proven ability to lead large-scale, multi-country operations with diverse teams and stakeholders.Exceptional communication, negotiation, and influencing skills at executive and board level.Demonstrated success in driving continuous improvement and transformation across global operational environments.Strong vendor management, analytical, and change leadership capabilities.Why Join UsIn this global role, you will have the unique opportunity to shape the operational backbone of a mission-driven organization making a difference in patients’ lives worldwide.
