To find out more about RMIT Vietnam and our current vacancies, please visit our website: https://www.rmit.edu.vn/careersThe RoleAs the Global Experience Coordinator, you will coordinate all aspects of RMIT Global Experience programs delivered in Vietnam, focusing on the Global Exchange Programs.The position provides general advice and maintains relationships with key stakeholders, including students, external and internal stakeholders across RMIT Vietnam and Melbourne, escalating more complex enquiries as required.The position is required to coordinate global exchange programs with the promotion, admission, preparation and completion of our global experience programs and events. The incumbent will also provide broad administrative support for the office and events.The role works closely with colleagues across RMIT Vietnam and Melbourne with key external partners to ensure the delivery of world-class programming.Your ResponsibilitiesWork closely with Melbourne Global Experience team on a daily basis catch up and contribute to the delivery and continuous development and improvement of the Global Experience Programs, specifically focusing on the provision of services and adminstrative support for inbound and outbound students participating in these programs.Coordinate the organisation of the frequent Information Sessions and Pre-departure Sessions for Students and Parents. Actively support and participate in other University events such as Orientation and Experience Day.Develop promotional material appropriate to different media and channels to promote the Global Experience programs at RMIT.Ensure the maintenance and development of systems and processes that support a quality experience for local and international students engaged in global experiences.Ensure the delivery and improvement of quality and timely service for the global experience student lifecycle.Provide timely and effective reports and advice on progress of assigned global experience programs.Demonstrate high standards of customer care at all stages of the global experience programs. Coordinate a client focussed service in providing basic information and assistance to clients, including screening initial queries from students and parents (via telephone and in person) and provide guidance for global experience programs.Collaborate with relevant RMIT teams in Vietnam and Australia to streamline communications to participating students and partner organisations. Establish and manage effective relationships with all relevant stakeholders internally and externally, including students and other areas within the University.Other tasks as assigned by the Global Experience Manager and undertake any other duties as required, to support the Global Experience Melbourne team.Key Selection CriteriaBachelor’s degree in a relevant disciplineMinimum of 2 years’ experience in an educational setting working in client and customer relationsStrong communication skills, written and spoken (Vietnamese and English)Well-developed and demonstrable interpersonal skills, including negotiation, liaison, and cross-cultural communication specifically in relation to customer or student service functionsStrong customer service approachDemonstrated experience coordinating promotion campaigns and events for studentsProven ability to provide timely and accurate reportsExperience in developing and delivering presentations to diverse audiencesDemonstrated ability to work co-operatively as a member of a team and to work with minimum supervision.Experience with aspects of project coordination, with an emphasis on effective planning and time managementDemonstrated ability and capacity to engage new technologies, ability to use and learn relevant software and systems and proficiency using computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, Mailchimp, Canva, etcAbility to display appropriate behaviours in line with the position and RMIT ValuesAdditional InformationContract duration: 08 monthsHighly competitive gross salaryAnnual leave: 1 day per working monthPrivate InsuranceFree use of on-site sports and fitness facilitiesLibrary on campus and online - access to the RMIT Australia online libraryEnglish Proficiency English is the language of teaching and communication at RMIT Vietnam.
