This is your chance to build a global, AI-supported team with full P&L responsibility and a clear mandate to innovate.Summary of RoleAs the Global Head of Sales Development, you are the architect, owner, and leader of our entire global pipeline engine. Based in our Cape Town office, you will hire, coach, and lead our international teams of SDRs and SDR Managers (40+) located across the USA, South Africa, Kenya, and Manila.Your mission is to build a "next-gen" SDR function, holding full P&L responsibility and owning the strategy for integrating a cutting-edge AI tech stack (Gemini, Vertex, OpenAI, etc.) to create a profound competitive advantage.Your Impact & What You'll DoArchitect the 'Next-Gen' AI-SDR Model: This is your canvas. You will design, build, and deploy our future SDR offering, integrating advanced AI tools to move beyond traditional prospecting and create new, high-value outcomes.Lead & Scale a Global Team: You will hire, coach, and manage our SDR Managers, scaling a global team of 40+ sales professionals across the USA, Manila, Kenya, and South Africa into the next generation of leaders.Own the Global Pipeline & P&L: You are the single point of accountability for the global SDR-sourced pipeline number. You will have full operational and financial control, managing the department budget, forecasting, and maximizing ROI.Master the AI Tech Stack: You will be the chief strategist for our sales development technology. This includes optimizing core tools (dialers, email) while actively piloting and integrating next-gen AI platforms to transform team performance.Why You'll Thrive at ExecoYou're an Experienced Global Sales Leader: You have 8-10+ years in B2B tech/SaaS and, crucially, you have experience managing SDR Managers.You've Led at Scale: You have a proven track record of successfully leading large, distributed sales teams (40+) across diverse regions, including Manila, Kenya, South Africa, and the USA.You're a Strategic Builder: You've done more than inherit a team; you have a clear history of building and scaling a sales development function from the ground up.You're a Commercial Operator: You have direct, hands-on experience managing a P&L and departmental budgets. You are metrics-obsessed and use data to drive efficiency and predictability.You're an AI Visionary & Tech Evangelist: You are genuinely excited and knowledgeable about next-gen AI tools (like Gemini, Vertex, OpenAI) and have a clear vision for their practical application in a sales environment.You're a Hands-On Cape Town Leader: You are based in Cape Town and believe that high-impact leadership, coaching, and innovation happen best when you're working side-by-side with your team.
