The Head of Supply Chain leads and manages the execution of Supply Chain activities within the AGRANA Fruit division in line with the strategy (esp. IBP, S&OP, MRP, Warehouse & Logistics or specific projects & programmes). If you are ready to shape the future of global supply chains and thrive in a role where your impact truly matters, this job is for you!Your key responsibilities include:Divisional (Global) Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Process OwnerDefine, manage and continuously improve the IBP process ensuring effective interfaces with Sales, Procurement & FinanceOversee the Demand Planning process, ensure the provision of long-, medium- and short-term forecasts and demand plans based on relevant insightsDefine, manage and continuously improve Operations planning processes aiming to ensure maximum customer service at optimal cost & working capitalLead Operational aspects of Portfolio management, product introduction & discontinuation to maximize service and minimize costDivisional (Global) Material Requirements Planning (MRP) Business Process OwnerEnsure MRP (SAP) is set up and used effectively to drive all aspects of S&OP, IBP, warehouse & logistics management across 1st, 2nd & 3rd transformationProvide, consolidate & ensure compliance with relevant KPIs to drive continuous improvementEnsure decisions are made on the basis of reliable & consistent data as automatically as practicalDivisional (Global) Process Owner TotesManage the global tote park to drive customer service at optimal cost - safe use & storage, effective & efficient cleaning, stock rotation vs shelf life, etc.,Drive continuous improvement of tote’s process (with other key stakeholders): quality, Maintenance and retirement, tracking & tote-turns.Propose CapEx required (5YP and annual budget) to ensure the correct number of totes to meet business demandsWarehousing & LogisticsEnsure safe Material Handling practices in Warehouses, factories, etc. (including forklifts, reachtrucks, etc.,) and in our logistics networks.Develop and ensure implementation of guidelines for Good Warehousing Practice, & transport managementInvestigate and drive adoption (where successful) of new technology to improve efficiency & cost of warehousing & logisticsOperations Leadership & StrategyMonitor the effective use of and results from key SC processes globally, intervening to address through training, coaching & best practice sharing & adoptionEnsure consistent and adequate staffing through talent management, succession planning, coaching & supportEnsure a consistent and aligned culture within Operations throughout AGRANA FruitParticipate in development of AF strategy, e.g. Capacity Planning & network optimization, especially using LEAN tools and principlesYour ideal profile:You have a university degree in relevant subject (e.g. SCM/Logistics, Operations, Food Tech/Sci) or equivalent experienceYou have deep knowledge and experience of IBP, S&OP and MRP (ideally SAP)You have experience and deep understanding of LEAN, its tools & approachYou have a strong experience record of Operations leadership, including experience of multi-site/remote leadershipYou are highly organized with strong project management skills.You are fluent in spoken and written English - any additional language is a plus (e.g. French, German)Why should you apply?A true opportunity to take the lead in shaping and executing global supply chain strategies that directly influence the company’s future and spearhead transformative initiatives with real, measurable impact.A working environment with close collaboration with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, offering exposure at the highest levels of the organization.
