Global Head of Supply Chain Excellence

A global manufacturing business with a long history of engineering quality and international success is looking to appoint a Head of Supply Chain Excellence. The company is in the midst of a major modernisation programme, investing in new technologies, global processes, and the development of a high-performing, digitally enabled supply chain organisation. This is a senior, strategic role with real influence across regions, functions, and senior leadership. About the Role The Head of Supply Chain Excellence will shape how the global supply chain is measured, optimised, and continuously improved. You will create clarity around performance, build global standards, and ensure that key supply chain decisions are supported by strong data, transparent reporting, and cross-functional alignment. A major focus of the role will be strengthening end-to-end visibility - from planning and inventory to risk and digital capabilities. You'll work closely with leadership teams worldwide to embed modern tools, harmonise ways of working, and build a culture that consistently delivers high service, balanced costs, and operational resilience. This position requires someone who can operate comfortably in both strategic and hands-on modes: analysing performance at a global level while also driving practical improvements through the organisation.
