Food Ingredients: Innovating improved nutritional profiles, better taste and texture, and greater cost efficiency to meet the needs of global food and beverage manufacturers.We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Global Key Account Senior Director to lead one of our most critical global customer relationships within the Food Ingredients division. This role requires a senior commercial leader with a proven ability to engage and influence executive-level stakeholders, drive strategic growth, and orchestrate cross-functional collaboration across geographies.The location for the role is flexible within Europe (in IFF locations), with preference being for Lyngby, Brabrand, Milan or Niebull. Your potential is our inspiration.Where You’ll Make a Difference?Strategic Account Leadership: Own and drive the global strategy for a top-tier Key Account, aligning with IFF’s Food Ingredient business objectives and the customer’s long-term vision.Executive Engagement: Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior executives at the customer organization, acting as a strategic advisor and thought partner.Growth Delivery: Develop and execute account plans that deliver sustainable revenue growth, margin expansion, and innovation pipeline acceleration.Cross-Functional Orchestration: Lead global cross-functional teams (commercial, technical, innovation, supply chain) to deliver seamless customer experience and value.Innovation Champion: Identify and co-create innovation opportunities that leverage IFF’s capabilities to solve customer challenges and unlock new market potential.Performance Management: Monitor account performance, forecast accurately, and ensure delivery against financial and strategic KPIs.Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of industry trends, competitive dynamics, and customer shifts to inform strategy and maintain IFF’s leadership position.What Makes You the Right Fit?Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Business, or related field.Minimum 12 years of commercial experience in the Food Ingredients or FMCG sector, with min. 5 years in global key account leadership.Demonstrated success in managing complex, multi-regional customer relationships at all levels.Strong strategic thinking, negotiation, and influencing skills.Excellent communication and presentation capabilities.How Would You Stand Out?High emotional intelligence and cultural agility.Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and data-driven account management.Willingness to extensive international travel required.Why Choose Us?Be part of a purpose-driven company committed to sustainability and innovation.Opportunity to lead strategic initiatives with global impact.Inclusive and diverse workplace culture.Professional development and learning opportunities.Competitive compensation and benefits.We are a global leader in taste, scent, and nutrition, offering our customers a broader range of natural solutions and accelerating our growth strategy.
