The opportunity We are looking for a Global Manager for Sales & Order within GI Valves responsible for all tendering and order for SVC - and HVDC valves. This role involves leading tender managers as well as order handlers, coordinating with various customers and stakeholders, ensuring compliance with industry standards and driving towards business goals.This role is fundamental in driving the operational and financial performance of the business to ensure we deliver our tenders as per scope, budget, and on time. Equally important, you are a part of transforming the business model from a project approach to a product model to scale the business, empower teams and drive operational excellence. This transformation is fundamental to our success in this fast-growing market, and a strong capability of leading changes will be a success factor in this role.This role involves leading a team of people with different roles in Sales & Order, coordinating with various stakeholders, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and driving the business side of GI Valves. This role is fundamental in driving the Tendering and Order handling.How You’ll Make An ImpactTeam Leadership: Lead and mentor a team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. The team will consist of 17 persons responsible for internal tendering beyond 1 BUSD / year.Transforming our business model from project by project basis to a product oriented approach including revising our models for tendering, driving lead time reduction, increasing business control through digitalization and incorporate in our processes.Resource Allocation: Efficiently allocated resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to optimize performance and internal capability.Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including 8 global manufacturing plants, engineering, contractors, suppliers, and clients, to ensure tenders on time with market reflected cost.Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on timelines and outcomes.Performance Monitoring: Track tender progress, prepare regular reports, and present updates to senior management including risk mitigation plan.Task force leadership: In case of deviation in Quality, Budget and Time have strong task force leadership capacity to mitigate business exposure, ensure customer delivery and keep stakeholders informed.Your backgroundExtensive financial or business experience, particularly in tendering large-scale offerings.Previous experience with SVC or HVDC applications is considered as an advantage.Structured and proactive mindset, with a passion for improving processes and driving innovation.Solid interpersonal skills, thriving in both independent work and building professional networks.Fluency in English and Swedish, both written and spoken.Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, supported by proficiency in Excel and financial planning.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.Familiarity with ERP systems (preferably SAP) and financial reporting in dynamic, fast-paced environments.What We OfferCollective agreement  Flexible working time  Health care and wellness allowance  Fantastic career possibilities within Hitachi Energy both within Sweden and globally  Mentor to support you throughout onboard phase  Various trainings and education supporting employee development   Diversified company with over 70+ nationalities working in Sweden  Supplementary compensation for parental leave  Employee Benefit Portal with thousands of discounts and perks  More About Us Are you ready for a new exciting challenge?
