Global Manufacturing Director

Our client is a leading international FMCG company with a strong portfolio of well-known consumer brands. We are seeking a Global Manufacturing Director to lead the company’s worldwide production network.This role will shape and execute the global manufacturing strategy, driving efficiency, quality, sustainability, and innovation across multiple sites and regions.Key Responsibilities of the Global Manufacturing Director:• Develop and implement a global manufacturing strategy that supports business growth and operational excellence• Oversee production performance, cost management, and process optimization across all plants• Ensure consistent product quality and full compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards• Lead and mentor regional manufacturing leaders and plant managers, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Finance, and Procurement teams to align capacity, resources, and budgets• Drive the adoption of new technologies, automation, and data-driven decision-making to enhance productivity• Champion sustainability initiatives focused on energy efficiency, waste reduction, and carbon footprint improvement• Manage global manufacturing budgets and report key performance metrics to senior leadership• Anticipate and mitigate operational risks, ensuring resilience and business continuity across regionsRequirements:• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field• At least 10 years of experience in manufacturing leadership, ideally within the FMCG sector• Proven track record of managing international operations and large, multi-site teams• Strong expertise in operational excellence, cost control, and process improvement• Experience implementing sustainability and technology transformation initiatives• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills• Fluent in English; other languages are an advantage• Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and the ability to deliver results in a complex, fast-paced environmentDue to the high volume of applications we receive, we’re only able to contact those selected for the next stage of the process.
