We’re partnering with a leading international organization in the metals sector, seeking a Global Metal Trader to drive commercial growth and profitability across ferroalloys and minor metals.This is a pivotal role for a commercially astute professional with full P&L responsibility and a proven track record in physical trading. You’ll lead business development initiatives, manage key relationships across global markets, and contribute to long-term strategic growth.Key Responsibilities of the Global Metal Trader:Lead trading activities across ferroalloys, base, and minor metals, ensuring strong P&L performanceIdentify and develop new market opportunities across Europe, the Americas, and AsiaBuild and nurture strategic relationships with producers, trading houses, and end users to secure sustainable growthOversee commercial operations — from procurement and sales to inventory management and financingApply robust risk management and hedging strategies to mitigate exposureProvide market intelligence and insights to guide commercial and strategic decisionsAbout You:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance, or a related field; MBA or Master’s degree would be advantageous5+ years’ experience in physical trading of ferroalloys, base, or minor metalsStrong understanding of global metals markets, risk management, and OTC tradingSkilled negotiator with a track record of delivering profitable resultsFluency in English is mandatory, any other language would be beneficial If you are interested in applying for this Global Metal Trader role, please register your interest using the link below.
