Your expertise is crucial in diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and debugging complex semiconductor equipment. Your swift action in responding to situations is critical in resolving issues and ensuring satisfaction of Lam’s valued customers.What You’ll DoResponsible for providing quality on-site repair and maintenance service of complex electro-mechanical systems. Analytical troubleshooting of technical problems to component levelPerforms complete installation/relocation start-up servicesTroubleshoots equipment problems and conduct diagnostic procedures to isolate problems and take steps to minimize downtime or system interruptions and eliminate equipment malfunctions. Determine corrective actions as requiredPerforms installations and/or relocations of equipment at customers’ sitesRemains up to date on equipment/tools through appropriate training, manuals, factory periodicals and other relevant materialsAssists in complex field modifications and updates as released in Engineering Change NotificationsMaintains records and reports as required to properly coordinate activities with supervisors and customersResponsible for Planning, management, and execution of projects of a limited scope and durationCoaches less experienced collegues within job scopeWho We’re Looking ForTechnical education in electronics, engineering or other applicable field of study (HTL/Bachelor) 10+ years of work experience, including 3+ years of relevant semi-conductors work experienceSolid knowledge of Clean-Technology productsAble to work rapidly for prolonged periods of time, including bending, stooping, reaching, walking, sitting and standing in one locationUnderstand and work from electrical and mechanical schematics and diagramsAbility to interpret operation manuals to determine root cause of tool failuresExperience in Microsoft Office Suite Work independently, cooperatively in a team or with customers completing assignments with minimal supervision and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detailPerform effectively in a demanding environment with changing workloadsAdhere to customer rules and policies regarding worksite behavior and safetyAble to travel frequently (80%) internationally, including to Asia and USAWhat We're OfferingThis position will be occupied in Villach. It is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement for Employees in the Metal Technology Industry in occupation group E, depending on Education. A higher payment is negotiable depending on expertise and skills. The monthly salary is paid 14 times per year.
