My client, a top Building & Civil Engineering contractor in Cork are now hiring a Quality Manager (Construction). The successful Quality Manager will be working on Residential/Commercial/Hospital Projects in Cork. Duties:
Develop and implement project-specific Quality Plans and Inspection & Test PlansOversee and review quality inspections, method statements, and compliance proceduresConduct regular site quality audits and provide feedback to project teamsSupport BCAR inspections, documentation, and certification processesMonitor and close out non-conformance reports and implement corrective actionsWork with Project Teams and subcontractors to resolve quality issues and minimise defectsAttend project meetings to provide input on quality performance and risksAssist with external audits and regulatory inspectionsDeliver quality-focused inductions and training for employees and subcontractorsMentor Project Teams and support the development of employeesPromote best practices, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing across projectsWork with Contracts Managers and the HR Department to document employee development and integrate quality training into onboardingOrganise regular toolbox talks, workshops, and refresher sessionsSupport lean initiatives to improve construction quality and efficiencyLead the use of Procore for quality management and ensure teams are trained in its useCapture and apply lessons learned from past projects to enhance future deliveryRequirements:
A qualification in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related discipline is preferredMinimum 5 years’ experience in a management role within constructionStrong knowledge of BCAR, quality systems, and site complianceExcellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skillsAbility to influence teams and promote a culture of continuous improvementSalary: Salary circa €80k - €90k DOEPrivate Health InsuranceLife InsuranceOn-site GymAnnual Health Checks
