Developing and producing products in a vertically integrated way ranging from electronics (e.g., PCBA) to mechanics (e.g., machining, 3D printing, injection molding) and complete system assembly and integration.About the role:As a Global Sales Manager (GSM) Defense you are creating new opportunities at new customers by leveraging existing knowledge and network. You will play a key part in expanding Prodrive’s reach within the Defense industry. Additionally, you will contribute to enhancing cross-business line collaboration and defining Prodrive’s value proposition in the Defense market.Key Responsibilities: Engage with stakeholders such as global OEMs, strategic (Dutch) partners, government bodies (e.g., Ministry of Defense), and non-governmental organizations (e.g., lobby organizations)Actively participate in networking events and build out the Prodrive brand in the Defense sectorPerform competitor analysis, map their positioning, and identify unique selling points (USPs) in the defense industryWin defense business, acting as the primary point of contact until project handoverCollaborate with engineering and sales teams to align customer solutions and ensure successful project proposalsOrganize updates and workshops to keep customers informed of our strategy and maintain a strong network at potential customersProfile:Bachelor or Master’s degree,Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a defense company or Ministry of Defense purchasingProven experience in customer-facing roles, including RFQs, tenders, and commercial negotiations.Strong analytical skills to translate customer requirements into viable proposals with technical teamsDemonstrated experience in contract negotiation and consultative selling (preferably 4+ years in the right industry)Excellent communication skills, able to engage with both technical and commercial stakeholdersInternational experience and willingness to travel regularlyProactive, self-starter, and team player who values collaboration and continuous improvementFluent in English, both spoken and written, Dutch is considered a plus.
