You’ll take a global view of our end-to-end product supply, working across technical operations, procurement, and commercial functions to shape a robust and sustainable supplier network.In This Role, You WillLead the development and execution of global sourcing strategies that enable a resilient, cost-efficient, and sustainable supply network for Sobi’s clinical and commercial manufacturing.Combine a strategic and commercial mindset to evaluate and optimize sourcing decisions throughout the product lifecycle — from development to commercialization and life-cycle management.Drive cross-functional collaboration across Technical Operations, Legal, Tax, Finance, and other key stakeholders to negotiate and implement complex, high-value global contracts.Design and maintain a strategic sourcing roadmap, ensuring alignment with Sobi’s business goals and long-term vision.Contribute to due diligence efforts in business development projects, providing critical input on manufacturing and sourcing opportunities.Anticipate market trends and assess supplier capabilities to deliver data-driven sourcing recommendations that strengthen Sobi’s competitive edge.Lead business cases for Technical Operations projects, from financial approval through to contract execution, and continuously enhance sourcing processes and procurement policies to drive efficiency and innovation.QualificationsAbout youYou are a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach — someone who thrives in complex, fast-paced, and international environments. You bring analytical rigor and commercial acumen, balanced with strong interpersonal and leadership skills. You are decisive, accountable, and naturally collaborative, able to translate ideas into action and deliver tangible results.Key QualificationsUniversity degree in Business, Chemistry, Science, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent).Minimum 3+ years’ experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, in sourcing, procurement, or outsourced manufacturing.Proven success negotiating fact-based complex, high-value global contracts in a multicultural setting.Understanding of cGMP manufacturing and global regulatory standards.Experience in global, matrixed organizations and cross-functional collaboration.Skills & KnowledgeExcellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).Strong financial and analytical acumen ( COGS and cost structures).Expertise in global sourcing strategies and supplier performance management.Exceptional commercial mindset and business judgment.Here at Sobi we live by our core values: Care, Ambition, Urgency, Ownership and Partnership!Additional InformationHow to applyWe have an ongoing selection process in this recruitment and ask you to send your application as soon as possible.
