You will develop and execute global sourcing strategies, lead multi-million-dollar contract negotiations, and direct complex global logistics.You must be a doer and a completer—someone who takes the initiative, operates independently in an ambiguous environment, and drives multi-functional projects through to completion. You are expected to figure things out on your own and be the decisive, technical link between Engineering and our global supply partners. In return, we offer a chance to be the foundational supply chain leader for a core technological asset in a rapidly scaling company.You will be responsible forEnd-to-end global sourcing and supply chain management for carbonation building for megaton site deployment: The carbonation building has air flow and CO2 capture infrastructure inclusive of racking systems, caddies, automation/controls, fans/blowers etc.Own the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for the carbonation scope, proactively leading value engineering and cost reduction initiativesDevelop and apply strategies, analytics, and supply chain methodologies to manage suppliers and adhere to cost, delivery, and quality targetsEnsure Heirloom is achieving Value For Money and strategically selecting supply partners to support Heirloom’s growth and scale plansGlobal Sourcing & Negotiation: Develop and execute global sourcing strategies and lead high-value contract negotiations for all major carbonation building components (such as racking, automation/controls, caddies) to secure optimal pricing and terms.Perform thorough evaluations of the supply market to make supplier selection recommendationsProactive Risk Management And MitigationDirect complex global logistics, packaging, and freight planning, while identifying and actively mitigating critical supply chain risks (e.g., commodity volatility, lead times).Gain an understanding of Heirloom’s process and full system to understand cost drivers and develop cost models to support forecasts and negotiationsCommunicate with senior leadership internally and externally, and comfort to escalate when requiredCross Functional AlignmentAct with urgency and take initiative to resolve issues when they do ariseCollaborate with Engineering, Technology, Project Management teams and suppliers to identify potential suppliers with the right qualifications to support Heirloom’s requirementsAct as the primary liaison between Engineering, Project Management, and suppliers to ensure supply chain activities align perfectly with the project master schedule and budget.What You Will BringThe ideal candidate will have:8-10 years in global sourcing or procurement for complex capital equipment or large-scale industrial automation/material handling systems or industrializing supply chain for high-volume electro-mechanical systemsDemonstrated history of successfully leading multi-million-dollar contract negotiations and managing supplier bases across various international regionsDegree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business related discipline or significant experience Start Up and New Product Introduction/Product Launch experienceDemonstrable experience in establishing and enforcing Quality Assurance/Quality Control protocols for automated equipment installationLogistics management experience a plusStrong technical acumen, including the ability to interpret complex engineering specifications and Bill of Materials (BOMs)Expert knowledge of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) methodologiesAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and specificationsExcellent analytical, negotiation, and problem solving skillsAttributes/behaviorsProven ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environmentA doer and completer mentality - instigate and drive projects through to their completionOur PrinciplesRadical Honesty means we are open, transparent, and inclusive in everything we do.
