Bring yours to Block.The RoleWe're looking for a Global Travel Operations Manager to support the day-to-day execution of Block's travel program. You'll focus on making travel easier, more efficient, and more compliant by managing tactical workflows, resolving employee issues, and working closely with internal teams and vendor partners.You WillBe the first point of contact for global travel questions, issues, and escalations via multiple channels, i.e. phone, email, slackUpdate travel pages (Contentful, etc.) to keep colleagues informed on travel programsContinue to monitor existing policy for improvement and updatesProvide colleague proactive and educational materials, training sessions, webinars, etc. - ensure our colleagues know how our systems, tools, and policies workEnsure documentation of existing processes, playbooks, and supplier contracts to identify potential opportunitiesWork with our Travel Management Company (TMC) and vendors to solve booking and service-related challengesMaintain travel profiles and platform accuracy (Navan, TripBam, etc.)Monitor policy compliance and support audit/reporting needsMaintain and support internal reporting requirements ensuring stakeholders are kept updatedSupport platform maintenance, bug tracking, and content updates, along with important integrations, Workday, etc.Collaborate with multiple teams as required, i.e. Workplace & Events, Trust and Safety, Insurance, People Ops, to align on processesHelp prepare for vendor performance reviews and SLA reporting; ensure these are organized and held with appropriate timing and continuityStay customer-focused and team-oriented—always looking for ways to improve the traveler experience (new ways of working, AI, new technologies, etc.)You Have4+ years in corporate travel operations or similar support rolesExposure to SLA, vendor management, automation, process improvement, and travel sourcingA collaborative approach with strong written, verbal, and organizational skills, with the ability to get things done without creating frictionA service-first mindset—you enjoy solving problems for peopleComfort working across time zones with global teamsA detail-oriented, proactive mindset with a bias toward actionTechnologies We Use and TeachFamiliarity with corporate card/expense platforms (e.g., Expensify, Amex)Experience with travel management companies and online booking platformsExperience utilizing AI tools, with an interest to continue to expand capabilitiesWe're working to build a more inclusive economy where our customers have equal access to opportunity, and we strive to live by these same values in building our workplace.
