We are currently looking for a candidate on behalf of our client, Deutsche Bank, for the position of IT Service Manager / IT Application Owner. The role is part of the Accounting Tribe and involves managing applications that support financial operations, internal decision-making, and regulatory reporting. The position requires close collaboration with development, infrastructure, risk, and audit teams to ensure stable day-to-day operations and long-term reliability of the applications. Key Responsibilities: Manage the full lifecycle of assigned applications, from planning and deployment to maintenance and decommissioning. Ensure compliance with IT security standards and regulatory frameworks (e. g. , ISO 27001, SOX, NIST).
Coordinate infrastructure-related activities, including upgrades, access reviews, and the implementation of security controls. Support internal and external audit processes and lead remediation efforts as needed. Maintain accurate documentation for operational procedures, control frameworks, and change tracking. Serve as the primary contact for technical issues, ensuring effective coordination among all stakeholders. Required Qualifications: Proven experience in IT service or application management, preferably within a regulated industry. Solid understanding of ITIL processes, especially in areas such as Incident, Problem, and Change Management. Familiarity with IT compliance frameworks and audit collaboration. Ability to work effectively across both technical and non-technical teams.
Experience with tools such as ServiceNow, JIRA, and Confluence. Exposure to automation, scripting, or CI/CD practices is a strong advantage.
