We’re recruiting on behalf of Deutsche Bank, for a Technical Support Engineer role in their Bucharest technology center. This is a hands-on position focused on supporting live applications running on Unix/Linux and Oracle, with an emphasis on incident resolution, stability, and collaboration with global teams. If you’ve worked in production environments, know your way around the Unix shell, can troubleshoot issues using SQL, and understand ITIL flows, we’d love to hear from you.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide L2/L3 support for live internal applications across distributed environmentsInvestigate incidents directly on Unix/Linux systems, perform log analysisUse SQL for data validation and root cause investigation in OracleMonitor scheduled jobs via Control-M, Autosys, or similar toolsFollow ITIL processes (incident, problem, change)Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business teamsMaintain clear documentation of procedures and resolutions Required SkillsHands-on experience in production or application supportStrong understanding of Unix/Linux (commands, logs, file systems)Basic scripting skills (Shell, Bash, or similar)Proficient in SQL (joins, group by, filtering etc.
