Project Description: This role supports the migration from the global MyLIMS system back to SAP QM at the Vienna site. The goal is to reintegrate all processes currently managed in MyLIMS into SAP QM. This includes master data creation, approval procedures, sample management, and all related documentation, training, regulatory requirements, and system interfaces. Detailed Scope of Work: The contractor will be provided with all necessary information, contacts, documents, system access, and other resources required to perform the tasks. The contractor is expected to independently carry out the following tasks:
Project Management and CoordinationIndependently create and continuously update a detailed project plan, including resource requirements. Define project goals, milestones, priorities, and framework conditions. Coordinate and advise a local project team, including setting up necessary project meetings. Organize the project within the structure (Global + Divisional + Local), using provided templates, documents, and internal requirements, and advise internal project leads. Consulting and System ImplementationProvide expert advice on planning and executing the migration of a global IT system (LIMS), considering technical, procedural, and regulatory requirements. Advise on implementing globally defined processes and functions into local operations.
Support the migration of existing data structures into SAP QM, ensuring data quality. Plan, design, and implement the following work packages: Data migrationTraining, onboarding, and access/role conceptIntegration of global processes/functions into local operationsGo-live readiness assessmentIdentification and resolution of critical gaps (e. g. , workarounds, change requests, fixes)Regulatory compliance and tracking of implementation (e. g. , change requests, SOPs)Stakeholder Management, Documentation, and CommunicationIdentify and engage local stakeholders (e. g. , Quality, Production). Participate in stakeholder meetings to share project status, gather key information, and advise the global implementation team (GBS, Global Quality, IT).
Develop and implement a communication and reporting strategy for the project. Prepare project documentation, status reports, and presentations for regular team, update, and steering committee meetings. Continuously monitor project progress using designated tools (e. g. , MS Project, Excel). Risk Management and Quality AssuranceIndependently manage local project risks and functional issues. Proactively initiate countermeasures to minimize risks. Advise on technical integration, change request management, and demand control. Support the evaluation of gaps, including business impact and GxP relevance, and assist in final decisions made by the Global Process Owner (GPO).
