Our client is a global manufacturer of industrial materials and solutionsOur client is a global manufacturer of industrial materials and solutionsAbout Our ClientOur client is a global manufacturer of industrial materials and solutions.Job DescriptionThe General Manager Operations, APAC will lead and optimise manufacturing, supply chain, and operational excellence across the Asia Pacific region. This role oversees multiple manufacturing sites in India, China, and Southeast Asia, managing a workforce of approximately 1,000 employees. The position is critical in driving operational efficiency, ensuring reliability, and aligning regional operations with global standards and market requirements. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Lead manufacturing operations across multiple plants in India, China, and Southeast Asia, managing a workforce of approximately 1,000 employees.Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and corporate standards while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.Drive operational excellence and cost efficiency through Lean, Six Sigma, and TPM methodologies.Oversee end-to-end supply chain activities, including procurement, logistics, inventory, and distribution, to meet market demands efficiently.Develop and implement regional operational strategies, supporting plant expansions, technology transfers, and new product scale-ups.Lead, mentor, and develop plant and supply chain leadership teams across the region, enhancing engagement and performance.Manage regional budgets and deliver on operational KPIs, including cost, quality, and delivery metrics.Serve as the primary liaison between APAC operations and global leadership, building strong relationships with internal teams, suppliers, and regulators.Monitor performance and optimise resources across all manufacturing sites.The Successful ApplicantBachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field; MBA is preferred.Minimum 15 years of experience in manufacturing operations, including at least 5 years in a senior regional leadership role.Proven experience managing multi-country operations and supply chains across the Asia Pacific region.Strong expertise in industrial manufacturing; experience in insulation, chemical, or rubber industries is a plus.Demonstrated ability to drive operational and financial excellence in complex environments.Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills.Comfortable with extensive travel and hands-on engagement to drive business growth.What's on OfferThis is a unique opportunity to lead operational excellence and transformation across the Asia Pacific region, driving growth and innovation within a high-performing, global organisation.Contact: Franck Johnson (Lic No: R1324656 / EA No 18S9099)Quote job ref: JN-102025-6851333
