About The RoleThe Sales Strategy Manager [Insights and Special Projects] serves as the critical analytical and project management hub for the sales organization. This role is dedicated to transforming complex sales data and field intelligence into strategic, actionable insights that directly support the Head of Sales and sales team in achieving ambitious company targets. As a key strategic contributor, the role will drive comprehensive sales performance analysis, develop deep market and merchant insights, optimize sales processes, and provide critical support for GoFood's strategic go-to-market initiatives. Moreover, functioning as the Project Management Office (PMO) for the sales performance cadence, this role ensures systematic resolution of sales challenges and issues across all strategic sales activities by all relevant stakeholders.What You Will DoDevelop comprehensive regular reports on sales and merchant performance, providing insights and strategic action plan for the Head of SalesPMO for sales regular cadence (weekly/monthly, Individual/all segment): coordinate and facilitate meetings by preparing data-driven decks, driving cross-functional collaboration, documenting minutes, and ensuring timely follow-up on action itemsConduct in-depth market research and analysis to support sales decision making e.g. competitive landscape, market share, merchant and segment behaviour, user behaviour, etc.Develop tools and ways of working to support sales initiatives and decision making e.g. sales performance evaluation systems, merchant performance review, forecasting model, market saher tracker, etc.Support in setting sales targets, including product mix, sales volume, and market share, segmented by merchant categorContribute to executing sales motions/building blocks by conducting periodic reviews and providing insights to the stakeholders.What You Will Need4+ years of experience in strategy related roles in a fast-paced environmentStrong problem-solving and strategic thinking skills with the ability to solve complex and ambiguous problem given minimum guidanceStrong analytical thinking with the ability to make data-driven decisions through descriptive data analysis to complex financial modeling - proficiency in using analytical tools such as SQL, Looker studio, or similar platforms for performance tracking and reporting is a plus pointAbility to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholdersExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to diverse audiencesStrong organizational and time management skills and a keen eye for detail in planning, documentation, and executionAbout The TeamImagine a team that's like the secret sauce of Gojek's sales ecosystem - that's us!
