Job DescriptionJob Title: Senior Accountant - General AccountingJob OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team and should have a strong background in General Ledger Accounting, with experience in accounting ERP tools. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing financial statements, including profit & loss and balance sheet, and will have a strong understanding of fixed assets, depreciation, and accruals. LocationChennaiResponsibilitiesPrepare and review journal entries, prepaid entries, and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Maintain and manage the General Ledger, including fixed assets, depreciation, and accruals.
Prepare financial statements, including profit & loss and balance sheet, and trail balance. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including reconciliations and account analysis. Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information is provided to support business decisions. RequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. Minimum 3-8 years of experience in General Ledger Accounting, with experience in accounting ERP tools. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including fixed assets, depreciation, and accruals.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret financial data and identify trends. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Proficient in accounting software, including ERP tools.
