Please click here to apply internally.This position plays a key role in creating a welcoming and memorable experience for members and guests, as it represents the first point of contact upon arrival at the property. The role is responsible for delivering service that exceeds expectations, while assisting the professional golf staff in managing valet service, cart staging and storage, and the practice facility area.Responsibilities Of The PositionGreet members professionally upon arrival and departure at the valet station.Communicate with departments as needed regarding the transition of members throughout the property.Restock golf carts with beverages, towels, and any other necessary services throughout the day.Ensure an adequate number of carts are available in the cart staging area at all times.Keep transportation services, club cars, and personal golf carts clean as needed.Clean members' golf clubs upon arrival, after the round, and before storing the clubs.Maintain an organized bag storage area where members' clubs are accessible at all times.Manage the practice facility, including daily setup of amenities, assisting members and guests to enhance their experience, daily breakdown of facilities, and replenishing golf balls in preparation for the following day.Assist the professional golf staff with tournament preparations and clinics as needed.Opportunity to perform as a forecaddie for select groups upon request by the professional golf staff.Other tasks as assigned.Required Attitudes/ BehaviorsStrong sense of teamwork and willingness to collaborate with other departments.Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively under pressure with minimal supervision.Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.Positive attitude, professional demeanor, polished appearance, and solution-oriented mindset.Self-motivated, reliable, and committed to delivering exceptional service.REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, ABILITIES, And/ Or SKILLSProficiency in English, with the ability to communicate clearly with members, guests, and colleagues.Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.Solid customer service experience, ideally in hospitality, golf, or luxury service environments.Basic knowledge of golf rules, etiquette, and operations; advanced knowledge is a plus.Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.Demonstrated ability to remain professional, courteous, and composed in high-pressure situations.Previous golf course or club experience preferred.COMPETENCIES FOR SUCCESS IN THE ROLEService Excellence: Consistently demonstrates a commitment to delivering high-quality and personalized service that exceeds member and guest expectations.Team Collaboration: Works effectively and respectfully with colleagues across departments, fostering a cooperative and supportive environment.Communication: Clear, professional, and courteous in both verbal and written interactions, ensuring accurate and timely information sharing.Adaptability & Problem-Solving: Quickly adjusts to new situations, identifies solutions, and maintains efficiency under pressure.Professionalism & Integrity: Projects a polished, reliable, and ethical image at all times.Attention to Detail: Maintains high standards of organization, cleanliness, and accuracy in all assigned duties.Proactivity: Anticipates needs, takes initiative, and acts without waiting for direction to ensure smooth operations.Required EducationPreferably high school diploma or equivalent.HEALTH AND SAFETY NEEDSAbility to meet the physical demands of the position, including working outdoors in all weather conditions.Standing, walking, and moving for periods exceeding eight (8) hours.Lifting and carrying items sometimes weighing more than 50 pounds.About UsAbout the Project - Zapotal Beach ClubZapotal Golf & Beach Club is located on the North Pacific shore of Costa Rica in the heart of the Gold Coast.
