General Manager opportunity to lead Five Iron Golf Riyadh, our first venue in Saudi Arabia, currently in the pre-opening phase. The role involves overseeing all operations of this world-class indoor golf and entertainment venue, including simulator rentals, league programs, events, premium food & beverage service, and facilities. You will recruit, train, and lead a high-performing team, drive revenue, manage the P&L, and ensure exceptional guest experiences. The position requires strong leadership in hospitality or entertainment management, proven operational excellence, and a passion for delivering above-and-beyond service. ResponsibilitiesDrive revenue through Simulator Rentals, Food & Beverage Sales, and League sales.
Actively evaluate employee performance to ensure daily business needs are met. Manage and oversee all operations of the social side of the business, including leagues, simulator rental experiences, event execution, facilities maintenance, food & beverage service, and social staff scheduling. Take pride and ownership of each guest’s enjoyment at Five Iron Golf, ensuring above-and-beyond service standards are delivered. Acquire and maintain comprehensive knowledge of all products and services (technology, lessons, leagues, memberships and food offerings) and leverage expertise to sell and cross-sell. Manage the Social P&L of the location, optimizing labor and operating costs.
Build relationships within the community, foster customer loyalty, and encourage repeat business through proactive engagement and local marketing. Collaborate with team members and corporate representatives to align efforts and communicate location needs clearly. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and local service regulations. Qualifications 7+ years of hospitality management experience, including at least 3 recent years as an Assistant General Manager or General Manager. Strong leadership ability and willingness to lead by example. Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills. Upbeat energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude. Ability to think on your feet and manage customer expectations in a fast-paced environment.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical ability to stand, walk, bend for long periods, and navigate stairs.
