Our OpportunityWe are looking to appoint a Project Manager to successfully support and deliver capital projects for Goodman Fielder's Meadow Fresh site in Christchurch. You will have responsibility for the procurement, design, construction and commissioning of new UHT production capacity ensuring the implementation of new high quality, high performing production lines. Key responsibilities include:
Delivery and management of complete contract scope including on time, on budget, and exceeding minimum quality requirementsMinimise business interruption and coordinate with the Operations team to ensure successful deliveryProvide regular reports to Stakeholders through written reports and Site Project MeetingsHolding contractors to account to meet business requirements for OEE, reliability and production throughputNote: This is a fixed-term role for the duration of 12 months. There is a potential for extension based on project approvals.
About You In order to make this role a success we are looking for an experienced Project Manager that has a track record of delivering projects in the Dairy (preferable) or Food manufacturing industries. Other experience, qualifications and skillsets we're looking for, include:
Qualification in Engineering (Chemical, Process or Mechanical)Project organisation, cost estimation & schedule development including scope of work & technical specificationsHygienic design experience, Safety in Design and HAZOP workshop experienceExperience with change management, design management, and an understanding of contract management principlesCapability with AutoCAD for 2D layouts is preferred What we offer You will be joining a driven team of professionals who genuinely enjoy working together, resulting in a highly collaborative environment.
