Join us and put yourself in good company!We are looking for a full-time Legal Assistant to join our Support team. As a key member of the Legal Assistant Support team, you will be reporting to Human Resources. In this role, you will be responsible for providing clerical, administrative and general office duties to meet the needs of the firm and clients. Scope of Responsibilities:

Work with all forms of legal documents including agreements, letters, memos, presentations, organizational charts and practice specific documentsProcess, revise, proofread documents against originals and prepare blacklining as necessaryEnsure client confidentialityCompose client correspondence and maintain practice specific databasesSchedule appointments and prepare necessary materialsArrange for conference calls including contacting participants and providing call detailsArrange meetings by booking facilities and other meeting requirements, i. e.

lunch, audio visual equipmentDocket entry, prepare cheque requisitions and process amounts when appropriateCoordinate work with other Legal Assistants and support services to ensure required actions are completed in a timely manner and appropriate support is provided to the legal practices they are supportingProvide assistance to others during absences as neededOther duties as assignedRequirements:

Must be enrolled or have completed a post-secondary education with a focus on legal administration or equivalentExcellent knowledge of MS Office Suite, including Outlook and WordAbility to organize, multi-task, and prioritize appropriatelyDiscretion, confidentiality and attention to detail are essentialA team player who takes initiative and works well independentlySolid written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrates excellent client service and ability to anticipate client needsWe Offer: A comprehensive benefits package, including:
