Overview:The GOS Deployment Manager is responsible for organizing and leading evaluations for plant operations across a mix of cross-functional elements in order to achieve short and long term company improvement objectives as it relates to the critical requirements of the Graham Operating System. They will deliver detailed documented assessments and provide operational support regarding overall system compliance across the functional areas of EH&S, Quality, Employee Empowerment, Continuous Improvement, Maintenance Reliability and Supply Chain.ResponsibilitiesDuties and ResponsibilitiesExercises unbiased leadership and interpersonal skills while conducting assessments and conducting interviews. This includes conflict management regarding requirement complianceServe as the subject matter expert regarding details for compliance and corrective actions to the Graham Operating System. The GOS Deployment Manager will be a resource to plant operations for improvements and collaborate with senior management on companywide improvement initiativesParticipates in providing a safe working environment for all employees targeting a zero accident incident rateAssumes role as leader, mentor and subject matter expert while supporting and assessing manufacturing operationsProvides a professional, ethical, unbiased and documented assessment of manufacturing plant critical operating systems across various functional areas of EH&S, Quality, Employee Empowerment, Continuous Improvement, Maintenance Reliability and Supply Chain.Effectively plans, communicates, and executes an audit within its defined scope, including scheduling resources, conducting necessary meetings in performance of the audit, and using appropriate techniques to gather, identify, and classify objective evidence. Recommend “best practices” / improvement opportunities to manufacturing plants to enhance overall compliance to the Graham Operating System requirementsCompiles a detailed action plan which outlines opportunities for improvements for manufacturing plants. Review completed GOS assessment and action plant with manufacturing plant personnel including their Director, Operations and Business Unit Quality ManagerEffectively interprets various companywide KPIs, Metrics and statistical data as compared to established goals. Drives compliance to systems, specifications and product reliability in order to improve manufacturing plant scoring to their goals. Provides training and/or direction to the plant manufacturing teams which are unsure / unclear on the expectations of the Graham Operating System requirements for their specific area.Offers assistance with ideas regarding plant improvement initiatives to reduce scrap and improve processes. Engage the Business Unit Quality Manager on identified opportunities.Maintains and files accurate reports for all activities supported and completed during the manufacturing plant evaluations. This is to include “best practice” sharing and recommendations.Compiles and distributes reports to senior management on a routine basis regarding completed assessments, new improvement initiatives and additional support opportunities for manufacturing plants requiring assistance in scoring enhancements.Recommends improvements to GOS element content and/or scoring criteria.Provides support and/or training to operations personnel engaged in the GOS Elements of EH&S, Quality, Employee Empowerment, Continuous Improvement, Maintenance Reliability and Supply Chain. This can be accomplished by either video / audio conferences or in person visits.QualificationsQualifications and SkillsMust demonstrate a strong knowledge of all elements (EH&S, Quality, Employee Empowerment, Continuous Improvements, Maintenance Reliability and Supply Chain) of the Graham Operating System and be able to interface in a positive manner with management and team members of all levels to achieve the organization’s objectives.Have a broad knowledge of all aspects of the manufacturing environmentDemonstrate leadership and professionalism while performing all tasksUnderstand statistics and have the ability to interpret data across various functional areasExceptional listening, communications and training skillsStrong interpersonal skills, works well with people at all levels of the organizationWork independently and as part of a diverse team of auditorsAbility to provide detailed unbiased reportingMinimum of 5 years’ leadership and/or auditing experienceBachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or other applicableDemonstrate computer proficiency with various software packagesPosition requires the ability to travel (50-60%) to various manufacturing locationsThe standard compensation for this role is $107,900 - $161,800. Salary offers will be determined based on final candidate qualifications, experience, skillset, and other relevant factors.Compensation Statement: The expected salary range for the position described in this posting is made in accordance with the legal mandates of certain jurisdictions within the United States. The final agreed-upon compensation is based on individual qualifications and experience. Benefits Statement: Benefits include medical, dental, vision and basic life insurance.
