Job Purpose: Ensure corporate governance principles and practices are effectively implemented across the bank. The Executive Manager will play a crucial role in promoting transparency, accountability, and compliance within the organization. Responsibilities: Define and update the governance framework for the bank, ensuring alignment with the overall governance strategy. Conduct regular reviews and assessments of the framework to identify gaps and areas for improvement. Incorporate best practices and industry standards into the governance framework to enhance effectiveness. Work closely with senior management to establish corporate governance policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Provide guidance on governance practices and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Monitor the effectiveness of governance structures, including boards and committees, within the subsidiaries. Assess the efficiency and adequacy of governance processes. Identify areas of non-compliance or potential risks and recommend corrective actions. Qualifications, Experience, & Skills: +8 Years of experience within the same field. Proven experience in corporate governance. In-depth knowledge of corporate governance principles, regulations, and best practices. Advanced reporting and presentation skills. Strong Problem-solving skills. Ability to interact effectively in cross-functional team.
