We provide end-to-end project management services from start to finish with ongoing support and coordination. We do it all for our clients, from design to drafting, coordination, and management, planning, and scheduling, documentation to resource control.Our mission at KGDR Consultants is to provide our clients with industry-leading project and program management services and provide robust support at every step of the way.We are seeking a highly skilled Governance Expert to support our client programs by designing, implementing, and overseeing strong governance frameworks. The ideal candidate will have proven experience establishing organizational governance structures, ensuring compliance, and driving effective decision-making processes across complex projects or programs.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to support program and organizational objectivesEstablish decision-making structures, steering committees, and reporting protocolsEnsure compliance with regulatory, contractual, and organizational requirementsIdentify governance risks and develop mitigation strategiesCreate and maintain governance documentation, including charters, workflows, and accountability matricesFacilitate governance meetings, workshops, and executive briefingsMonitor adherence to governance standards and recommend improvementsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment across initiativesProvide insights and recommendations to leadership based on data, trends, and risk assessmentsSupport audits, quality reviews, and continuous improvement activitiesQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Policy, Project Management, or related field; Master’s preferred5 to 10 years of experience in governance, compliance, PMO, risk management, or related disciplinesStrong understanding of governance frameworks (e.g., corporate governance, project governance, regulatory governance)Experience supporting large, multi-stakeholder programs or organizationsExcellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skillsAbility to design and implement governance processes that support business objectivesFamiliarity with project management methodologies (PMI, Agile, or similar) is a plusPreferred SkillsExperience working with utilities, government clients, or regulated environmentsStrong documentation and reporting skillsAbility to influence senior stakeholders and drive accountabilityProficiency with governance or project management tools (e.g., SharePoint, Smartsheet, Power BI)
