Government Affairs Senior Specialist

To lead and manage high-level engagements with government bodies, local and international authorities, and diplomatic stakeholders in alignment with Tadweer’s strategic goals. The Senior Government Relations Specialist will act as a key advisor and representative of the organization in government-related matters and will support or represent the Government Relations Manager in their absence. This role requires proactive coordination, strategic judgment, and the flexibility to travel on short notice.Responsibilities:Serve as a senior liaison between Tadweer and UAE ministries, regulatory authorities, municipalities, and semi-government bodies.Represent Tadweer in high-level meetings, forums, and government consultations when the Government Relations Manager is unavailable.Act as the first point of contact for urgent government matters, decisions, or site visits.Lead the organization of site visits, official missions, and protocol events involving high-ranking stakeholders.Exercise independent decision-making in daily operations, protocol management, and high-stakes interactions, Travel across the UAE and internationally as required for meetings, conferences, and official representation.Draft and review official correspondence, policy briefs, and external communications in both Arabic and English, prepare briefing materials, talking points, and stakeholder reports for internal use and executive decision-making.Monitor and evaluate the impact of legislative, environmental, and regulatory changes on Tadweer’s operations.Ensure all interactions, documentation, and organizational responses are compliant with UAE law and government protocols.
